MIRKELAM HIGHWAY SERVICE FACILITY
İstanbul, Türkiye
2025
Highway Service Facility
3.660 sqm
Mirkelam Highway Service Facility is designed as a contemporary stopover on the TEM Highway, one of Istanbul's main transportation axes, offering users aesthetics and comfort under one roof. The building's characteristic façade stands out with its distinctive wave-shaped eaves, captivating with their fluid forms. This organic form reflects the highway's constant dynamics and lends architectural identity to the building.
Large glass openings invite natural light into the interior, creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere for users. Restaurants and cafes located on the ground floor, with their outdoor seating areas, create a strong connection with the surroundings, allowing users to interact with nature even during a short break.
The use of modern materials, simple façade lines, and an urban design approach integrated with the landscape make Mirkelam Highway Service Facility more than just a stopover; it is positioned as an architectural experience space where design, comfort, and functionality meet.
